Summary: This story is about a bug named Joe who has a hard time marching in the bug parade.Every time the lines are uneven the Queen of bugs demands that Joe stays aside. Poor Joe was unhappy to find himself labeled a "remainder one" thinks about different ways to make the lines even. In the story Joe  rearranges the twenty-five bugs until finally in the five line of five he was able to march in the line without being a remainder of one.

Rating-**** I highly recommend this book because it introduces children to division and multiplication. It is a great visual tool to show children the idea of division and remainders. This keeps students interested since the pictures are colorful and attractive. Children will also be interested in what will happen next in the Bug March.

Classroom Ideas- This book could be a great introduction to division.  Students can use manipulatives to show how they can divide evenly. Children can take the idea of "Joe" to divide themselves as "A" or "B". They can divide themselves into two equal subgroups. This can show students about different ways they can do division and multiplication.
